Preparing for adoption

My blogger friend and his wife are adopting 3 girls (sisters). Their story is amazing to read. I highly recommend that you read their fascinating blog entries. Reading his account of the final-days preparations involved when adopting kids reminds me that God is preparing a "forever home" for us--His adopted children. Just as Scott and Kat are filled with great anticipation, I am sure there is a BIG family in heaven (of persons know and unknown and a host of other heavenly creatures) that are excited about our "home-coming". Also, the 3 girls (after being separated and not feeling much like a family without a parent to claim as their own), are anxiously awaiting the day when their new parents will recieve them and take them home. Similiarly we, as adopted children of God, are looking forward to the day when we will be with God our Father and we'll be finally home.
