| Eastern Europe: Boy 51068 Age 2 This little darling has 2 grants totaling $13,000 to assist with his adoption process. This is a darling little blonde baby boy. We believe he has a form of sacral agenesis/caudal regression. His L3 is formed but defective and he is missing L4 and L5. He has a deformed pelvis, his femurs are dislocated and he has clubfeet. Despite all this he is a happy baby boy. The orphanage director knows his future there is bleak but once he is adopted and comes to the US, he will be able to lead a normal life despite the fact that he probably won’t be able to walk. We have purchased a small red wheelchair for him which will be hand delivered to the orphanage very soon. They said he is a happy, social boy who loves attention from the caregivers. He is growing nicely and developing well. They would like to see him find a family as soon as possible so that he can begin treatment in the United States. He is off the database already and legally free to be adopted. Thanks to a generous private donor, there is a grant to cover his international fee. Please e-mail Stephanie for more information. |
