Amazing Math Game

Timez Attack is an amazing new video game exclusively for learning multiplication tables. The best part is that anyone can try it out for FREE, like we did--although we ended up buying the full version for our home at a great price! My 9 y.o. son loves this high-tech video game and asks to play every day. I love that he is learning to master his times tables. They present the meaning and comprehension of every multiplication problem first by "visual representation" and then by having my son "build the answer." And, throughout the course of the game, it customizes to his learning. As my son advances in the game through fun "drills" and interaction with (nonviolent) characters, he is learning to master his times tables. The drills help the intelligent creatures (Ogres, robots, etc) strategize and "tailor" the education to my son's new assimilation and progress. They say that it is as "rigorous and effective as one-on-one training with a skilled teacher." I've never seen an educational game like this before. I hope they make more!
