Here is a new educational opportunity!
It is Southern California Homeschool Academy for the
Creative Arts, or SCHACA for short. It is geared to homeschool
families K-12 and those families of preschoolers who are looking for
something different than a traditional preschool program.
In a nutshell, SCHACA is a one day a week program (one or two day
option for preschoolers), offering a fun, hands-on education in the
creative arts, including music, dance, acting, visual arts and
science. Classes will be held at the Dance Factory, in Los Alamitos.
As far as I know, this is the only program of its kind in Southern
California.
