Apple will recycle your school’s old, unwanted Mac computers, PCs, and qualifying peripherals from any manufacturer—for free. There’s no purchase required, and all accredited K–12 and higher education institutions with at least 25 pieces* to be recycled are eligible to participate. Just register in time, follow the steps, and we’ll do the rest.
Security and processing matter.
When you dispose of your equipment through the Apple Recycle Program for Education, rest assured that 100% of Apple’s recycling is done domestically in the United States, that all asset tags and other identifying marks will be removed, and that all hard drives will be ground into confetti-sized pieces to help ensure that your data is secure.
How it works.
To take advantage of this opportunity, you’ll need to register between April 1 and June 30, 2008, and package your systems according to the instructions. All products must be collected by August 31, 2008. Remember, you must recycle a minimum of 25 pieces in order to participate.
To register for the program, you may either:
- Click on the tile to the right and fill out the online form. You will be contacted by an Apple representative within three business days to coordinate the pickup.
- Call 1-800-APPLE-LN (1-800-277-5356) to speak with a representative.
This offer expires June 30, so register now—it’s never been easier to go green.
